Freedom of expression and freedom of peaceful assembly are two of our most cherished human rights. Peaceful protests have accomplished a great deal in advancing change. But there is a minority group of organized violent protesters who hide behind balaclavas and masks not to effect change but rather to commit criminal acts of assault and vandalism in the name of Olympic protest.
