You might be arrested for looking this good with our new “gold” coloured Aviators that are hitting the streets on August 9th. We are commemorating our fifth year of the Kops’ Shades for Kids campaign with the change of our iconic VPD Aviators that help raise funds for programs that keep kids engaged, active, and away from high risk activities.
Originally introduced in the summer of 2013, the campaign has raised over a half million dollars to-date towards programs for Vancouver Police crime prevention projects and early intervention community outreach programs.
The VPD Aviators have been a great tool for the Foundation to introduce new community partners to our work in the community. The campaign also seeks to strengthen the link between the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) and the community it serves.

The VPD Aviator Sunglasses will be sold for $25 each on the Vancouver Police Foundation website.
Warning; wearing sunglasses supports the cops, but it doesn’t make you one. Get your police glasses and help us build a safer community.
The Vancouver Police Foundation supports programs and initiatives that fall under one of four pillars: Youth Programs, Mental Health & Addictions, Community Outreach & Engagement, and Technology & Special Equipment. You can help build a safer Vancouver by donating to the Vancouver Police Foundation.
