Last week, we were grateful to share stories about the amazing generosity of our community and this week is no different! In addition to donations of PPE for front line officers, a number of companies have stepped up to donate food and other comfort items to VPD members working hard to keep our neighbourhoods safe.
Boston Pizza delivered personal pizzas and pastas for every officer on shift and the BP staff took the time to write personal messages of gratitude, hope and inspiration on every single package!
Long shifts and stressful calls are exhausting. So, many officers were 
thrilled with the donation of four types of Rockstar Energy Drinks! It took some cajoling, but eventually Inspector Anderson of the Traffic Unit agreed to pose for the photo.
And for those who love a delicious treat, but not the carbs or sugar, the kind folks at Organika donated a bunch of their FAV collagen cookies…which did not last long.
We’d also like to thank Sparkmouth for their second donation and Bosa Properties for their incredibly generosity.
