Women’s Personal Safety Team
The Women’s Personal Safety Team(WPST) is a critical life-changing program that the Vancouver Police Foundation is thrilled to support. By delivering free personal safety workshops, the WPST team has empowered women to feel safe, aware and has provided thousands of women with the tools to counter asocial violence.
Thanks to donors like you, the WPST program has grown exponentially and empowered over 6,500 women – from high school students, community centre women’s groups, sex trade workers, and even recently, a group of visually impaired individuals.
Several amazing donors stepped up to fund this program last year and we are incredibly grateful for your support.
2023 Women’s Personal Safety Workshops
These workshops are open to the general public and are offered for free, as cost shouldn’t be a barrier to safety. These workshops are open to women, minimum age of 16 years.
