Youth Programs

There is no doubt that keeping children and youth occupied in a positive environment greatly increases the likelihood of a prosperous and meaningful life, despite what might be happening at home.

The Vancouver Police Foundation is proud to be funding programs and initiatives that keep kids engaged, active, and away from high-risk activities.

In 2022 we proudly granted $635,943 to impactful programs that will support and care for thousands of Vancouver’s children and youth. Most notably, our signature beneficiary of youth funding is the VPD Cadet program. Now in its 9th year, the Cadet program has changed the lives of more than 340 Vancouver teens.
