One GOAL, One DREAM

The inaugural VPD D.R.E.A.M. Hockey Ball Classic brought together Grade 6 and 7 students from across Vancouver for an unforgettable day of street hockey, teamwork, and community connection. Hosted by the Vancouver Police Department in partnership with the Vancouver Police Foundation, Hockey Ball, and the Canucks for Kids Fund, the tournament celebrated more than just the game—it built bridges between youth, local law enforcement, and the community. With exciting matches, mentorship opportunities, and special appearances from VPD units, this first-of-its-kind event set the stage for an annual tradition of sport, learning, and lasting friendships.

Thanks to donor support, the idea of Cst. Meghan Agosta and Det. Cst. Kurt Spence is now a reality, empowering youth, strengthening community bonds, and celebrating the joy of sports.
