Vancouver is my hometown and the city where I have the honour of serving as Chief Constable of the Vancouver Police Department.
I’m proud to lead a team of dedicated officers, civilian professionals, and support staff who are deeply committed to public safety. Every day, our people meet the challenges of modern policing with courage, integrity, and compassion. Whether they’re responding to emergencies, investigating crime, or supporting victims, their work is guided by a deep sense of duty to the communities we serve.
Policing today means more than enforcement – it’s about earning trust, adapting to change, and standing up for those who need protection the most. Our department is evolving, embracing new technologies and strategies to stay ahead of emerging threats and better serve the people of Vancouver.
The Vancouver Police Foundation plays a vital role in this mission. For nearly 50 years, the Foundation has brough together citizens and businesses who believe the community safety is shared responsibility. Thanks to their generous support, we’re able to deliver innovative programs and outreach initiatives that go beyond our core budget and deepen our connection with the community.
To all those who support the Foundation – thank you. Your partnership helps us build a safer, stronger Vancouver.
