In June, we were honoured to be the recipient of the Corus Radio Network’s Corus Cares PSA allotment.
The award represented approximately $184,000 worth of Public Service Announcement airtime on CKNW, Rock 101, the Fox & AM730.
Corus Cares was started by Corus Radio Vancouver in 2006. Each month the company selects a worthy charity and plays their PSA five times per day on its four local stations.
As a result of Corus’ generosity we were able to broadcast our message across the Lower Mainland.
The Vancouver Police Foundation supports programs and initiatives that fall within three streams: community outreach and engagement (including programs for women, youth and seniors); public and personal safety; and specialized equipment and technology.
