Police Aviator Sunglasses Campaign Raises Funds for VPD Community Outreachand Youth-at-Risk Programs
Starting on June 8th, when you put on a pair of the VPD Aviator Sunglasses, you’re not only looking like a cop, you are becoming our partner in the community. With each purchase of the VPD Aviator Sunglasses, you are funding important community outreach programs that are primarily focused on inner-city kids and youth-at-risk. The Campaign also seeks to strengthen the link between the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) and the community it serves.
To date, the campaign has generated over $440,000 for our programs and we are hoping to reach half a million this year.
London Drugs is the official retail partner of the campaign, selling the glasses in all of their Vancouver retail stores. 100% of the proceeds will be donated back to the Foundation. For more information on the campaign, visit VancouverPoliceFoundation.org/shades.
The VPD Aviator Sunglasses cost $20 each and are available at all Vancouver London Drugs locations or on the Vancouver Police Foundation website.
