11AM – 2PM
Churchill Secondary School, 7055 Heather St, Vancouver, BC
Join the Vancouver Police Foundation on Saturday, May 9th , as we celebrate the sixty cadets completing this year’s VPD Cadet program, twenty-one of which that are graduating.
Commenced in September of 2014, the 24-week program included educational workshops, physical training, and team and life skill building exercises. Working with their peers and front line police officers, the participants learned leadership, self-discipline and a desire for personal excellence. The program will create a long-lasting positive impact in the lives of our inner-city youth. By embedding a strong sense of leadership in these children, along with scholastic excellence and life skills through fun and engaging programs, the new cadets will become empowered leaders in our communities.
The program would not have been possible without the generous support of the VPD Cadet Program Founding Partners and VPF donors.
Congratulations to the Class of 2015!
