VPD CANINE & MOUNTED UNIT CALENDARS

The Vancouver Police Dogs Calendar features the four-legged members of the VPD Canine Unit posing for pictures around Vancouver. The calendar is produced by the Vancouver Police Department’s Canine Unit. All money raised goes to the BC Cancer Foundation and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Introducing the brand new, 2024 VPD Mounted Unit Calendar! The VPD Mounted Unit Calendar features Vancouver Police Horses and members of the VPD Mounted Unit posing for pictures around Vancouver. All money raised will support VPD officer-led programs funded by the Vancouver Police Foundation.

We proudly offer symbolic adoption kits featuring the four-legged heroes from both the VPD Canine Unit and VPD Mounted Unit. There are 14 incredible VPD dogs and horses to choose from! Each adoption kit includes a 8″ dog or horse stuffy, magnet, symbolic adoption certificate, fact card, plus a and a $28 tax receipt for the purchaser.

LIMTED EDITION PSD JADE ADOPTION PACKAGE

PSD Jade is one of the dedicated members of the VPD’s Canine Team who helps the unit respond to over 7,000 calls for service each year! Police Service Dogs (PSDs) are trained in a variety of disciplines such as tracking, criminal apprehension, evidence recovery, narcotics, firearms and explosives detection.
We’ve created a special limited edition PSD Jade ornament to celebrate the heroic impact she has had working alongside Constable Jesse Schellenberg. While supplies last, all PSD Jade adoption kits will include an ornament in addition to the typical adoption kit goodies!
SPECIAL EDITION JFD LUCCA ADOPTION PACKAGE

Justice Facility Dog (JFD) Lucca worked alongside the VPD’s Victim Service Unit staff to support victims, witnesses, and family members and to lessen the impact of trauma. JFD Lucca retired in April 2023, after seven years of incredible service, where he had over 300 unique contacts with individuals, providing a calming presence. JFD Lucca was bred, raised, and trained by the Pacific Assistance Dog Society (PADS).
We’ve created a special edition symbolic adoption package to celebrate all that Lucca provided our community. This new kit includes a retirement card featuring Lucca’s actual paw print in addition to the regular kit inclusions: a JFD Lucca stuffy, magnet, fact card, and symbolic adoption certificate!
All proceeds from the symbolic JFD Lucca adoptions, will support the Retired VPD Service Dogs Fund, which is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of retired Service Dogs by providing financial support for their medical well-being. It’s a small way to thank these canine heroes for their outstanding service to our community.

The Vancouver Police Foundation is proud to partner with the VPD Canine Unit to offer a new symbolic Adopt a Kennel program. For an annual gift of $1,000 you or your family/friends can symbolically adopt a kennel that houses a VPD canine hero. This program raises funds for the Vancouver Police Foundation and all our work to support VPD’s Canine Unit and fund officer-led initiatives making a difference in our community. These programs are making Vancouver safer for all, and now, with your symbolic adoption of a kennel, you can too!
